Role Overview: We are seeking a motivated Junior Draughtsman with a keen interest in multi-disciplinary projects. As part of our dynamic team, you will contribute to various stages of project development, from initial concept through to completion.
Requirements:
Draughting Qualification: Possess a recognized qualification in draughting.
AutoCAD Software Knowledge: Proficient in AutoCAD for 2D drafting and 3D modelling, AutoCAD Plant 3D (Advantageous)
Piping Knowledge: (Advantageous) Familiarity with piping systems and diagrams.
Microsoft Packages: Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
Willingness to Learn: Enthusiastic about acquiring new skills and adapting to evolving project requirements.
Ability to Work Under Pressure: Capable of managing deadlines and working efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Problem Solving: Strong analytical skills to resolve technical challenges effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
Draughting:
Create detailed piping and instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs).
Perform comprehensive 3D modelling for project visualization.
Technical Drawings:
Generate accurate fabrication drawings to guide manufacturing processes.
Compile precise bill of materials (BOMs) to support procurement activities.
Documentation and Coordination:
Maintain document control throughout project lifecycles.
Conduct site visits as needed to gather project data and verify designs.
Collaborate with external suppliers, addressing queries and ensuring drawing accuracy.
Project Completion:
Produce “As Built” drawings upon project conclusion to reflect actual construction.
