Responsibilities
- Operate lawn mowers, power tools, and grounds maintenance equipment to perform mowing, edging, trimming, and pruning tasks efficiently.
- Manage irrigation systems by inspecting, repairing, and adjusting sprinklers to optimize water distribution.
- Conduct landscape maintenance activities including weed control, mulching, and pest management following safety protocols.
- Perform snow plowing during winter months to keep pathways safe and accessible.
- Conduct routine inspections of equipment and tools for proper operation and perform basic maintenance as needed.
Skills
- Mechanical knowledge for operating and troubleshooting landscaping machinery and power tools.
- Experience in landscape maintenance and groundskeeping practices.
- Proficiency with hand tools such as shovels, rakes, pruners, and edgers.
- Strong outdoor work experience with an emphasis on safety protocol adherence.
- Ability to operate grounds maintenance equipment safely and efficiently.
- Understanding of lawn care principles including mowing schedules and fertilization routines.
