Duties

- Operate kitchen equipment safely and effectively, including ovens, mixers, and POS (Point of Sale) systems for processing transactions.
- Maintain cleanliness of workstations, dining areas, and kitchen equipment by following proper sanitizing procedures and cleaning schedules.
- Handle food safely by adhering to food handling guidelines, sanitation protocols, and food safety management practices.
- Assist with food processing tasks such as portioning ingredients, weighing items, and managing inventory levels with attention to weight handling safety.
- Support catering events or special functions by setting up serving stations and ensuring timely delivery of food services.
Skills
- Proven experience in fine dining or restaurant environments with a strong focus on customer service excellence.
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques and culinary practices across various cuisines.
- Familiarity with cleaning procedures and food safety sanitizing standards to uphold hygiene standards at all times.
- Ability to operate kitchen equipment safely while maintaining efficiency during busy periods.
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately using POS systems.
- Understanding of wine knowledge to assist with beverage service when applicable.
- Excellent communication skills for in-person customer interactions and teamwork within fast-paced settings.
- Experience in catering or hospitality environments is preferred but not required; enthusiasm for learning is valued highly.
