You’ll load, pack, and deliver household goods, run an iPad-based inventory system, and lead a crew to deliver a deluxe, five-star experience on every job. What You’ll Do
- Live, understand, teach, and model the iWest values with every member of your delivery team.
- Lead daily loading, unloading, packing, set-up, breakdown, pickup, and delivery of customers’ household goods and new items.
- Read your customers, assess their needs on the job, and lead the crew to deliver an extraordinary service experience.
- Handle the details: accurate iPad inventory, delivery paperwork, data entries, and customer forms.
- Teach and model correct lift-and-carry techniques in the warehouse and out in the field.
- Conduct daily truck inspections and meet all driver expectations (if applicable).
- Model and teach our 5-star customer experience, expectations, and survey standards.
- Follow all iWest safety and inspection guidelines, and report any safety issues immediately.
- Continuously lead the moving team using the iWest customer expectations, Ultimate Mover’s Training Guide, and Delivery Field Guides.
- Take on other tasks as directed by the Assistant Operations Lead and Operations Manager.
What You Bring
- Previous Team Lead or Crew Lead experience can support higher compensation
- A drive to lead others and grow your leadership skills.
- Excellent customer service and the ability to adapt to different clients and situations.
- The physical ability to bend, lift, and walk up and down ramps and stairs for the majority of your shift.
- Must have a valid driver’s licence, a clean driving record, and be 21 for insurance purposes.
- Able to lift up to 75 lbs unassisted and up to 300 lbs with assistance.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage your time effectively.
- Professionalism, self-motivation, and a genuine desire to improve.
- Ability to pass an Agility Test, Drug Screen, and Background Check.
Education & Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Experience with packing, delivery, moving, or driving 26′ box trucks / moving trucks is required
- A current Class A driver’s license is a bonus and is associated with higher compensation.
- Military-experienced candidates are strongly encouraged to apply.
Schedule & Travel
- Typical hours start at 7 am and vary based on business needs Monday–Friday, with some weekends expected depending on workload.
- Schedule is variable based on job volume.
- Occasional overnight travel is required as we service the surrounding areas; flexibility is a must.
Pay & Benefits
- $29.00–$31.00 per hour, based on experience, competitive within the industry, and negotiable.
