We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Mobile Upfitter Supervisor to lead our mobile vehicle modification and customization team. Responsibilities
- Supervise daily operations of the mobile upfitting team, coordinating installation schedules and workflows to meet project deadlines.
- Oversee the installation and repair of vehicle modifications, including electrical systems, mechanical components, and custom fixtures.
- Ensure all work adheres to safety regulations, industry standards, and company policies.
- Train and mentor team members on proper use of hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and safety procedures.
- Conduct quality inspections of completed work to verify compliance with schematics, technical specifications, and customer requirements.
- Maintain inventory of tools, parts, and materials necessary for upfitting projects.
- Collaborate with clients to understand project scope and provide updates on progress.
- Enforce safety protocols related to manual handling, vehicle lifting, and hazardous materials management.
- Utilize schematics and technical manuals for troubleshooting mechanical systems repair and electrical diagnostics.
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement by identifying process efficiencies and implementing best practices.
Requirements
- Proven experience in vehicle maintenance, automotive service, or mechanical repair roles with a focus on mobile or fleet vehicles.
- Strong mechanical knowledge complemented by hands-on experience with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and automotive electrical systems.
- Familiarity with schematics, mechanical systems repair, diesel mechanics, and automotive electrical diagnostics using tools such as ohmmeters.
- Knowledge of safety regulations related to manual handling, welding operations, and vehicle modifications.
- Ability to read technical manuals and schematics accurately for troubleshooting complex mechanical systems.
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to supervise teams effectively while maintaining high standards of quality.
- Prior experience working with maintenance, repair & operations (MRO) processes is preferred.
- Strong customer service orientation with effective communication skills for interacting with clients and team members.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.

Pay: $65,000.00 – $70,000.00 per year
