We are seeking a vigilant and proactive Mobile Patrol Officer to join our security team during graveyard hours. In this dynamic role, you will be responsible for patrolling designated areas to ensure safety, security, and compliance with all regulations. Your keen surveillance skills and quick response capabilities will help prevent incidents, manage emergencies, and maintain a secure environment. Responsibilities
- Conduct routine mobile patrols across assigned sites using access control systems and CCTV surveillance to monitor for suspicious activity or security breaches.
- Perform thorough inspections of premises, including physical security checks, loss prevention measures, and manual handling of security equipment.
- Respond promptly to alarms, emergencies, and incidents by following established emergency response procedures, including first aid, CPR, AED operation, and fire safety protocols.
- Write detailed incident reports documenting observations, actions taken, and outcomes to ensure accurate record-keeping and compliance with security regulations.
- Manage conflict de-escalation and conflict management situations professionally while maintaining a calm demeanor in high-pressure scenarios.
- Assist law enforcement agencies during investigations by performing background checks or providing relevant information as needed.
- Operate security tools such as Taser devices, firearms (where authorized), CCTV systems, and access control systems to uphold physical security standards.
Requirements
- Proven experience in security roles involving surveillance, law enforcement, or military service is highly desirable.
- Valid Nevada PILB
- Strong knowledge of emergency response procedures, incident report writing, conflict de-escalation techniques, and compliance with security regulations.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and manual handling tasks safely when required for equipment or incident management.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse individuals while maintaining professionalism.
- Demonstrated capability in patrolling using CCTV systems and access control mechanisms to ensure comprehensive site security during overnight hours.
- Physically fit with the stamina to stand, walk, or drive patrol routes for extended periods throughout the shift.
