Since the early 2000s, our client has been a leader in the wound care sector in South Africa, providing excellent service and support through a dedicated, well-trained national sales team.

Their R&D team focuses on developing high-quality, advanced wound care products, most of which are locally manufactured.

Position Overview

They are seeking a driven, ambitious, and organized Junior Sales Representative fluent in Afrikaans and English to join their dynamic team.

This role involves promoting, growing, and securing market share of innovative wound care products, building strong, ethical relationships, and driving sales growth with healthcare professionals and hospitals.

Key Responsibilities

Promote current and new products.

Identify business opportunities to sell all products.

Meet and exceed annual sales targets.

Maintain and grow existing accounts.

Work responsibly in the field and be goal-driven as a team player.

Plan effectively to achieve sales and marketing goals.

Manage personal workload efficiently.

Keep accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and market insights in the company’s CRM system, with regular feedback on business objectives.

Record daily sales activities and customer interactions in the CRM system.

Provide weekly progress reports.

Prepare weekly planning schedules and timely monthly forecasts.

Attend all business meetings.

Complete administrative tasks accurately and on time, including reports, leave forms, expense claims, etc.

Manage stock taking responsibly, following correct procedures for hospital visits and security protocols.

Assist with tender processes when required.

Build and maintain professional relationships with support staff.

Provide excellent pre- and post-sales service.

Maintain a client visit rate as directed by the National Sales Manager.

Visit theatre management, CSSD, and procurement weekly to discuss products, stock, and resolve issues.

Always conduct yourself professionally.

Requirements

Post-matric or relevant qualification.

At least 1 year of relevant experience.

Fluent in English and Afrikaans.

Attributes

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Motivated, with a passion for sales and the ability to work independently.

Excellent presentation and negotiation skills.

Proven target achievement and ability to work under pressure.

Organized with good time management skills.

Familiarity with CRM software (preferred but not required).
