Meat Cutter Jobs in Holden, ME at G&M Family Market
Seeking applicants for a fast paced Meat Room clerk. Position will include weekend days! Duties will include wrapping product, properly rotating product in the meat cases, assist in keeping the meat dept clean and sanitary, breaking down and cleaning equipment at the end of a shift, assisting customers with any questions they may have, grinding hamburg to the proper grade. If needed, the meat clerk will learn butchering skills over time. Applicant must be able to memorize specific cuts of meat and recognize them by appearance. This is a full time opportunity, with the opportunity to learn specific trade knowledge over time that can be used for years to come. Applicant must be able to stand on their feet for extended amounts of time, safely lift 50+ lbs, and be comfortable in a chilled room for hours at a time.
