Job Title: Material Handler
Department: Del Rio Distribution Center
Reports To: Warehouse Supervisor
Summary
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Receive material, verifying the amount received against vendor packing list. Generate a shipping discrepancy for all material that is over or under stated amounts. Maintained all company equipment and forklifts insuring proper care, servicing and preventative maintenance is performed.
Education and/or Experience
Ability to follow directions; ability to perform medium to heavy work; preferred forklift experience
Specifics for Del Rio Locations
- Unload trucks and place material on storage racks in designated area.
- Pull finished goods as required and put on designated trailer for transportation to the customer.
- Insuring that the oldest stock in shipped first.
- Maintain all company equipment and forklifts insuring proper care, servicing and preventative maintenance is performed.
- Use of scanners insuring proper care
- Maintain the cleanliness and orderliness of the warehouse and loading dock at all times.
- The shipping material handler may perform other duties not mentioned above, as the need may occur.
- Eligibility to work in USA.
- Valid driver’s license
