Job Overview:
Are you currently a “Super Suit” in an ad agency seeking client-side experience? We’re looking for an Agency Account Manager or Agency Account Director equivalent for our in-house Marketing Team. We manage marketing for a variety of exciting in-house businesses, including financial services, sports recruitment, studying abroad, and more.
We seek a Client Service Lead who is a self-starter, accustomed to working in a fast-paced, high-performance environment managing multiple senior clients simultaneously. You will collaborate closely with our Head of Marketing, Marketing Manager, and an energetic in-house team. The ideal candidate should have experience managing omni-channel campaigns, including Email, Google Search and Display, social media, Landing pages, Print, etc.
This is an on-site position based in our offices in Kenilworth, Cape Town.
You’re perfect for this position if you:
Have a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, or a related field.
Have at least 8 years of account management experience at an ad agency, preferably handling direct response lead generation and nurturing campaigns.
Are highly organised, communicative, client-centric, with a passion for advertising and a proven track record managing senior client relationships.
Feel comfortable with marketing strategy and can collaborate with copywriters and designers.
Possess meticulous campaign management skills.
Have a thorough understanding of best practices across multiple marketing channels, especially for lead generation, including Email, Social Media, Google, Print, etc.
Can compile campaign reports, aggregate results from various channels, and draw insights for clients.

Your main responsibilities will include:
Client Service Management:
Building and nurturing strong relationships with internal clients and ensuring successful campaign execution.
Campaign Management:
Overseeing planning, execution, and delivery of marketing campaigns, ensuring they are on time, within budget, and meet objectives. Developing project timelines and providing regular updates to clients.
Communication:
Acting as a liaison between clients and the internal marketing team, ensuring clear and consistent communication throughout campaigns.
Problem Solving:
Identifying and resolving client issues proactively, escalating concerns as necessary.
Collaboration:
Working closely with creative, media, strategy, and production teams to ensure seamless campaign execution.
