We’re not looking for someone to schedule posts and call it a day. We’re looking for someone who lives inside the brand.
BUUB is a fast-growing SA sunscreen brand built for people who actually go outside. If you scroll TikTok for fun, notice trends three days before they peak, and get genuinely annoyed by boring brand content, keep reading.
What you’ll actually be doing:
- Owning organic social end to end: strategy, content, posting, community. Not just a calendar, the actual creative thinking behind it.
- On set for shoots. You’ll be there with the team, shaping content in real time, not just receiving a folder of assets afterward.
- At events. Activations, pop-ups, collabs, wherever BUUB shows up in person, you show up too and turn it into content.
- Spotting trends before they’re trends. Sounds, formats, memes, whatever’s moving. You bring it to us, not the other way round.
- Working across IG, TikTok, YouTube and Facebook, understanding what each platform actually wants instead of cross-posting the same thing everywhere.
- Building relationships with our community, ambassadors and UGC creators. Replying, engaging, making people feel like they’re talking to a brand that’s actually alive.
Who you are:
- You’ve grown a social account (personal or brand) and can show us the receipts.
- You think in hooks and scroll-stopping moments, not just captions.
- You’re comfortable on camera and behind it.
- You’re organised enough to run a content calendar and scrappy enough to post something great with zero notice because a trend just dropped.
- You want to build something, not maintain something.
Based in Cape Town. Full-time.
