Position: Manual QA Tester (CH1134)

Our client, a dynamic and growing tech company based in Stellenbosch, is looking for an experienced Manual QA Tester to join their software quality assurance team. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality software products through structured and systematic manual testing processes. You will work closely with developers, analysts, and product owners to verify functionality, identify bugs, and contribute to continuous improvement across a range of applications.
Minimum Requirements
Education:
National Diploma or Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
ISTQB Certification (Foundation Level or higher) – Required
Experience:
3 to 5 years of hands-on experience in manual software testing
Proven experience writing and executing test cases, documenting defects, and reporting test results
Key Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and execute manual test cases based on system requirements and specifications
Collaborate with developers and business analysts to understand system functionality
Identify, document, and track bugs through to resolution
Participate in planning sessions and contribute to the definition of acceptance criteria
Perform regression, functional, integration, and system testing
Assist with UAT support and testing documentation

Excellent written and verbal communication skills
High attention to detail and a structured, methodical approach to testing
Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
Solid understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and QA methodologies
