Maintenance Technician – Job Responsibilities
- Perform general maintenance and minor repairs throughout the facility, including repairing broken locks, doors, walls, lighting fixtures, wheelchairs, and other equipment.
- Maintain the facility grounds by mowing, trimming, collecting trash, and ensuring the property remains clean, safe, and presentable.
- Inspect, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain building systems, mechanical equipment, machinery, and facility infrastructure.
- Complete routine and preventive maintenance on plumbing, electrical, heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems.
- Perform painting, flooring repairs, carpentry, and general upkeep of the facility.
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests and address safety concerns in a timely manner.
- Maintain maintenance tools and equipment in proper working condition.
- Follow all safety procedures and comply with applicable building codes and facility policies.
- Assist with room setups, moving furniture and equipment, and supporting special projects as needed.
- Keep accurate records of completed maintenance work and report any major repair needs to management.
- Perform other duties as assigned to support the safe and efficient operation of the facility.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $14.00 per hour
