We are currently looking for a Machine Operator. THIS IS A SECOND SHIFT POSITION from 3:30pm-1:00am Monday through Friday. Must be able to work Saturdays as needed.
Responsibilities Include:
- Set up equipment for production runs
- Operate, maintain, and perform basic repairs on production equipment as needed
- Understand cube patterns and safely operate Paco/Columbia equipment
- Build cubes according to company specifications and quality standards
- Assist with general plant operations and other assigned duties
- Work effectively with team members in a collaborative environment
- Follow directions and complete tasks assigned by supervisors
- Adhere to all company policies, work rules, and operating procedures
- Maintain a safe work environment by following all safety guidelines and procedures
- Perform the physical requirements of the job, including frequent sitting, standing, walking, crouching, kneeling, climbing, and occasionally lifting up to 50 pounds
- Successfully pass a pre-employment drug test
- Demonstrate a positive attitude, reliability, and strong attention to detail
Education & Experience:
- Previous CMU production experience is preferred but not required
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Ability to work 40+ hours per week, including overtime as needed
