Duties
- Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and quality standards, ensuring consistency and excellence in every dish
- Operate and maintain kitchen equipment safely, including ovens, grills, fryers, and slicers, adhering to food safety protocols
- Assist with meal assembly, plating, and presentation to enhance visual appeal and customer satisfaction
- Follow strict food handling procedures to ensure safety and hygiene throughout all stages of food production
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate meal preparation, communicate effectively about orders, and maintain a smooth workflow
- Maintain cleanliness of workstations, utensils, and equipment by adhering to cleaning schedules and safety standards

Requirements
- Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments with a strong foundation in culinary techniques
- Knowledge of dietary department practices or dietary aide experience is a plus
- Skilled in food preparation, knife skills, slicing techniques, and recipe adherence
- Familiarity with operating kitchen equipment safely and efficiently in a high-volume setting
