Lead Mechanic Jobs in Clemons, IA at High Ridge Farms
We are searching for the right highly motivated individual to join our team. We are a family owned and operated, mid sized to large grain farm in central Iowa. We utilize no-till grain farming and run Cat tracked tractors and Claas combines with Ag Leader gps and controllers. Duties for an employee would include maintaining and repairing farm equipment and semis in our shop or in the field if required. Helping with all field activities throughout the season, such as performing spot tillage, tending seed to planters, tending water and chemicals to sprayers, liquid fertilizer to side dresser, hauling grain field to farm during harvest and to local processors in the off season.
Would prefer an individual with a strong mechanical background as we perform most repairs and service ourselves. Typical work weeks are 45 hours except during spring and fall where it will be more, though no work on Sundays. CDL is preferred but not a requirement, though must have a valid drivers license.
We also run some heavy construction equipment and knowledge there would be a plus.
Pay based on the individual and experience, though will be very competitive to the right person.
