The Role
We’re looking for a highly creative, proactive Junior Social Media Content Creator to help bring Sómeu’s voice and vision to life across Instagram, TikTok, and other key platforms. This part-time role is ideal for someone early in their content career who’s eager to build experience in the beauty and skincare industry.
You’ll create compelling short-form videos, reels, and social visuals that capture attention, educate, and engage. This is a hands-on content production role—with creative freedom and room to grow into a full-time position.
Key Responsibilities
Assist in creating and managing weekly content calendars
Produce short-form video content (Reels, TikToks) aligned with the Sómeu brand
Design simple, aesthetic social graphics (e.g., carousels, static posts)
Edit UGC-style or lo-fi content for authenticity and relatability
Participate in brainstorms, trendspotting, and competitor monitoring
Support ongoing campaigns, launches, and engagement strategies
Requirements
1+ years of experience in social content creation (can include freelance, personal, or intern work)
Strong understanding of Instagram and TikTok content trends
Working knowledge of tools like Canva, CapCut, or Adobe Premiere/Rush
Ability to film and edit vertical videos using a phone or basic camera setup
Eye for detail, storytelling, and visual consistency
Interest in skincare, beauty, wellness, or lifestyle brands
Bonus Points For:
Experience in the skincare/beauty industry
Basic knowledge of content analytics and performance metrics
Comfortable appearing on-camera or directing others
Strong design sense and aesthetic awareness
