We are currently seeking a Junior Brand Manager for our skincare team. Amka, a leading manufacturing company, is looking for a Junior Brand Manager to look after brands in the Body and Bath Marketing Division. In a recent ranking of South Africa’s top 500 companies, the Topco Media Research Foundation recognized Amka as the Best Managed Company in the Personal Products sector

MUST HAVE a Marketing Degree or IMM Diploma.
MUST HAVE: At least 3 – 5 years’ experience as a Junior Brand Manager in a relevant FMCG environment.
MUST HAVE: Driver’s license and own car
To maximize the short- and long-term sales and profitability of the brand(s) for which he/she is responsible. This is achieved by managing all aspects of the marketing mix effectively to maximize the consumer and trade appeal of the brand(s) and build strong and enduring brand equity
Key Responsibilities:
Responsible for creating and implementing brand marketing strategies
Responsible for executing plans
Report and analyze brand performance in a clear, concise manner with a focus on required actions, demonstrating an understanding of brand issues, passion for brand and market opportunities
Brand Strategy: Have an in-depth understanding of the Brand Strategy, and be the major architect of the evolution of the strategy over time. Ensure that the Brand Strategy document is reviewed annually, with relevant members of senior management present at the review.
Ability to manage brands with limited budgets yet develop optimal marketing activities and results
New Product Launches: Responsible for conceptualizing, motivating, and managing the introduction of new products,
