Minimum Requirements
Minimum 5 years ICT related experience coupled with at least 2 years sales experience;
Certifications on Managed Services related products, e.g. HP, Cisco, IBM, Huawei, Lexmark, etc;
Able to interact with people at all levels and to conduct self in a professional manner;
Advanced business communication skills enabling verbal and written communication at all levels in English;
Able to identify the relevant role players involved in critical relationships and manage the relationships to ensure the success of the business;
Able to apply thinking processes to different situations and transfer the competence to new situations;
Able to maintain confidentiality at all times;
Attention to detail whilst executing outputs to ensure quality of service delivery;
Operate independently as well as part of a team;
Prepared to work extended working hours and travel extensively;
Valid driver’s license with own transport.
KEY TASKS
Customers
Compile a customer account plan based on allocated customer base;
All deals to have a minimum of 20% GP, unless preapproved;
Keep up to date account plans for all category accounts;
Make sure that complete and accurate data is captured weekly on CRM by 17:00 on Thursdays;
Ensure that Sizwe offerings to the markets are fully understood and communicated to targeted customers;
Ensure that A category customers are visited at least once per week;
Attend to customer needs on an ongoing basis;
Embark on proactive background customer research;
Ensure that there is a holistic understanding of customer entire business to optimize potential sales.
Pipeline And Demand Generation
Constantly work with presales, product management team, customers and tender unit to ensure that there is four (4) times cover on planned revenue targets;
Ensure that sales data is fully and accurately captured on CRM weekly by 17:00 Thursdays to enable forecasting;
Ensure that sales processes are followed all times;
Monitor and review pipeline opportunities in order to qualify opportunities in or out as early as possible in the sales cycle;
Ensure that a key account plan for all category accounts are comprehensive;
Actively source new accounts and/or customers;
Consistently develop a pipeline by means of active sourcing.
SELF-DEVELOPMENT
TEAM WORK
GENERAL
Debt Collection (45 Days turnaround)
Forecasting analysis;
Attend weekly sales meeting and provide updated feedback on weekly progress;
Maintain relationships with key decision makers and influences within account;
Manage customer related expenses;
Maintain a daily travel log book aligned with diary commitments and present same for approval by Executive on a monthly basis;
Attend product technology and vendor days to enhance networking. Any ad hoc function required to perform from management from time to time.
Desired Skills
Basic knowledge of CRM (Customer Relationship Management) processes and system;
Knowledge and understanding of product and service range;
Sound knowledge of ISO 9001 processes;
Sound knowledge and understanding of the components of the Information Technology Environment;
Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines whilst ensuring that high quality is maintained at all times;
High tolerance levels and ability to deal with difficult customers;
Well versed with sales processes;
Strong business acumen with advanced negotiation skills;
Sound presentation skills;
Customer centric.
Desired Qualification Level
Grade 12 / Matric.
