Inventory & Supply Operator – 1st Shift Jobs in Marathon, WI at Marathon

The Inventory & Supply Operator – Liner Division is responsible for the efficient flow of warehouse products, ensuring all inventory is safely handled, tracked, wrapped, and staged. A critical component of this role is maintaining high standards of warehouse inventory integrity through strict First-In, First-Out (FIFO) methodologies to ensure product freshness and stock accuracy.

Key Responsibilities

Inventory Control & Material Handling

  • Strict FIFO Adherence: Manage all inventory movement by ensuring that the oldest stock is systematically selected, rotated, and moved first to prevent product expiration or obsolescence.
  • Stock Organization: Maintain an organized warehouse environment where inventory is clearly labeled and accessible for efficient rotation and counts.
  • Material Verification: Monitor and verify physical counts and material specifications to maintain complete digital stock accuracy.

Job Planning & Production Staging

  • Upcoming Job Staging: Proactively stage materials and components for upcoming jobs to ensure production timelines are met.
  • Material Management: Manage and verify the specific materials needed for future scheduled jobs to prevent shortages or delays

Equipment Operation & Wrapping

  • Maraliner Supply Operation: Safely operate the forklift and related machinery to move, stack, and retrieve materials within the warehouse.
  • Wrapping & Palletizing: Securely wrap and finalize pallets to prevent damage during movement, ensuring all loads are stable and meet facility specifications.
  • Safety & Maintenance: Adhere to all facility-specific safety guidelines while operating heavy machinery in high-traffic warehouse areas and maintain a clean, organized work environment.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Experience: Previous experience in a warehouse environment, inventory tracking, or equipment operation; forklift experience is highly valued
  • Technical Aptitude: Ability to quickly learn and navigate the Radius system and other digital inventory tools.
  • Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy in tracking inventory, verifying material labels, and staging upcoming jobs.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to stand for long periods, lift materials up to 50 lbs , and perform repetitive wrapping and palletizing tasks.
  • 1st Shift/Monday through Friday/6:30am – 2:30pm/overtime as needed
