Responsibilities
- Engage with prospective and existing clients through outside sales efforts to promote insurance products and services.
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships by understanding their needs and providing personalized insurance solutions.
- Conduct thorough analysis of client requirements to recommend suitable health, life, property, or casualty insurance policies.
- Negotiate policy terms and premiums effectively to close sales while ensuring compliance with insurance regulations.
- Manage sales administration tasks using CRM systems and Microsoft Office tools to track client interactions and policy details.
- Educate clients on benefits administration, coverage options, and regulatory requirements related to insurance products.
- Assist clients with claims processes, policy renewals, and ongoing customer service inquiries to foster long-term loyalty.
- Stay informed about industry trends, new insurance products, and changes in insurance regulation to provide expert advice.
Experience
- Proven experience in outside sales or retail sales environments with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets.
- Strong negotiation skills with the ability to communicate complex information clearly and persuasively.
- Multilingual or bilingual abilities are highly desirable for engaging diverse client populations.
- Familiarity with commercial insurance knowledge, including property casualty, health, and life insurance policies.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and CRM systems for effective sales administration and client management.
- Excellent analysis skills to assess client needs accurately and recommend appropriate coverage options.
- Exceptional customer service skills with a focus on building lasting client relationships.
- Knowledge of insurance regulation standards and benefits administration processes is a plus.
