About Us: Battermann & Associates is a wholesale fabrication and installation company for quartz and solid surface countertops and decorative surfaces such as, fireplace surrounds, tub surrounds, shower bases, shower walls, full-height backsplash, wall cladding, wall caps, window sills, etc.
Job Summary: We’re seeking a skilled and detail-oriented installer to join our installation team. In this hands-on role, you’ll play a key part in transforming living and work spaces with quality and technical installation of quartz and solid surface countertops and other decorative surfaces.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and perform installations of stone countertops, with primary focus on quartz.
- Handle solid surface installations as needed (experience preferred but not required).
- Install countertops accurately and to high quality standards.
- Coordinate with shop, sales, and project teams to ensure jobs are completed on schedule and to customer expectations.
- Mentor and oversee other installers on the crew (based on experience).
- Maintain a clean, safe worksite and company vehicles/equipment.
- Communicate professionally with customers and resolve on-site issues.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a lead or senior countertop installer is preferred but not required.
- Strong preference for hands-on experience with quartz (and other natural/engineered stone).
- Solid surface experience is a plus but secondary.
- Ability to read shop drawings.
- Reliable, detail-oriented, and able to work independently or lead a small crew.
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
- Physical ability to lift and handle heavy materials (typical of countertop work).
- Full-time availability (standard construction/installer hours; some flexibility may be required).
