Green Mountain Total Care is a locally owned home care company providing dependable, compassionate care to older adults who want to remain safely and comfortably in their own homes.
We’re looking for reliable, experienced, and compassionate caregivers who take pride in providing high-quality care and building meaningful relationships with the people they support.
We offer both full-time and part-time opportunities, with a minimum commitment of 16 hours per week. Opportunities for consistent schedules and longer shifts are available.
What You’ll Do
Depending on the client’s needs, responsibilities may include:
- Personal care and assistance with activities of daily living
- Mobility and transfer assistance
- Companionship and supervision
- Meal preparation
- Medication reminders
- Light housekeeping and laundry
- Transportation and errands when applicable
- Maintaining a safe and comfortable home environment
- Documenting care and communicating changes or concerns to the care team
What We’re Looking For
Our strongest caregivers are dependable, patient, observant, and genuinely enjoy working with older adults.
Qualifications:
- Prior professional caregiving, home care, facility, CNA/LNA, or similar experience strongly preferred
- Ability to provide compassionate and respectful personal care
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Dependable attendance and commitment to scheduled shifts
- Ability to work independently in a client’s home
- Reliable transportation to client homes throughout Chittenden County
- Valid driver’s license preferred
- Ability to successfully complete required background screening
Exceptional candidates without professional caregiving experience may also be considered. Training is provided.
