HR Manager

Relevant 3-year degree and/or postgraduate qualification required

Salary Range: R40,000.00 – R60,000.00 per month

Are you an experienced HR professional looking to make a real impact in a fast-paced, high-performance environment? Our client is a dynamic Fin Tech company that thrives on innovation, agility, and results. They are seeking an HR Manager to oversee the full HR function, driving people initiatives and enhancing the employee experience for a team of around 90 employees.

This role is ideal for someone who combines emotional intelligence with strong administrative skills and a proactive approach to HR strategy. You’ll need to be hands-on, self-sufficient, and confident in managing everything from recruitment to performance management and employee engagement.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee the full employee lifecycle, including onboarding and retention

Manage the recruitment process, working closely with hiring managers and agencies

Implement and oversee performance review processes, including 360-degree feedback

Identify and coordinate learning & development programmes

Ensure compliance with statutory HR requirements (Skills Development, Employment Equity, BEE, Health & Safety, etc.)

Assist Finance with payroll-related employee data and updates

Develop initiatives to enhance employee engagement and company culture

Act as the first point of contact for employee relations, grievances, and conflict resolution

Maintain and improve HR policies, ensuring clear communication and compliance

Required Experience:

Minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar HR role

Proven track record in successfully managing an HR function

Strong knowledge of BCEA, Labour Law, EEA, and Skills Development Acts

HR Strategy & Operations: Ability to manage HR processes effectively in a fast-paced environment

Employee Engagement: Skilled in developing and implementing engagement and retention strategies

Performance Management: Experience with performance review cycles and leadership development

Compliance & Administration: Strong knowledge of employment law and HR best practices

Communication & People Skills: Ability to manage sensitive issues with confidentiality and professionalism
