Local contract – no freelance contract neither expatriation ;
Fluent in English (written and spoken) ;
Speaking French is a serious advantage ;
Great knowledge of tax regulations , labor laws and statutory compliance is a must ;
2/3 years experience minimum required in payroll processing ;
Short term contract

As part of our development, we are looking to strengthen our Human ressources department and are looking for an experienced Payroll officer who is looking for new challenges within a dynamic and human-focused company.
Description Of The Position
The Hr Payroll Officer at Capago has for main objective to prepare and assist in processing the payroll for the group.
Responsabilities
Maintain accurate and secure payroll records, including employee data, pay checks, and tax forms ;
Collect timesheets, calculate wages, benefit, deductions, and prepare payroll using the company software.
Count absences (paid leave, sick leave, etc );
Collect information on overtime;
Collect information on incentives and calculate compensation components;
Enter compensation components into dedicated systems;
Print and send pay slips to company employees;
Maintain various types of reimbursement or deduction from payroll;
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual social security declaration;
Ensure the timely payment of various social security contributions ;
Verify the proper execution of monthly payroll operations and correct any errors reported by employees;
Manage all other tasks given by the management.
Skills
English (spoken and written) – mandatory ;
French is a serious advantage ;
Great payroll software proficiency ;
Proficiency in data analysis ;
Great experience in identifying discrepancies and resolve issues ;
Great ability handling sensitive employee financial information with discretion ;
Ability to handle pressure by managing multiple tasks , meet deadlines and maintain accurate records ;
Energetic, proactive, versatile, committed to teamwork and team spirit.
Diploma And Experience
Matric or equivalent in human ressources with a specialization in law ;
Tertiary qualification is an added advantage ;
Previous experience as a Payroll Officer (2/3 years minimum).
