Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of residential spaces, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping floors, and surface sanitation to ensure a spotless environment.
- Handle laundry duties such as washing, drying, folding, and organizing clothing and linens with care and efficiency.
- Implement proper cleaning and sanitation procedures using appropriate cleaning detergents and equipment to maintain hygiene standards.
- Manage outdoor work tasks including patio cleaning.
- Communicate effectively with clients to understand their specific needs and provide excellent customer service throughout each visit.
- Use manual handling skills for heavy lifting of furniture or appliances safely while adhering to health and safety guidelines.
- Operate cleaning equipment such as vacuums, janitorial tools efficiently.
- Ensure all surfaces are cleaned thoroughly, including kitchens, bathrooms, windowsills, furniture surfaces, and appliances.
- Follow established custodial procedures for cleaning surfaces and maintaining sanitation in all areas of the residence.
Requirements
- Proven experience in residential cleaning or housekeeping roles with knowledge of cleaning procedures and equipment.
- Familiarity with cleaning detergents, floor care techniques, carpet cleaning methods, and sanitation standards.
- Ability to perform manual handling tasks safely, including heavy lifting.
- Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently within scheduled appointments.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly with clients about their needs.
- Knowledge of residential housekeeping practices including dusting and surface cleaning
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining high-quality standards.
