Duties
- Perform comprehensive cleaning of residential spaces, including dusting, surface cleaning and floor care to ensure a spotless environment.
- Implement cleaning and sanitation procedures using appropriate detergents and equipment to maintain hygiene standards.
- Conduct laundry duties such as washing, drying, folding, and organizing towels and linens efficiently.
- Use manual handling techniques safely when lifting heavy items or moving furniture during deep cleaning or outdoor work tasks.
- Maintain the cleanliness of floors through sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and specialized floor care methods.
- Manage janitorial supplies and cleaning equipment to ensure availability and proper functioning for daily tasks.
Experience
- Proven experience in residential cleaning or housekeeping roles with a strong understanding of cleaning procedures and sanitation standards.
- Familiarity with cleaning equipment such as vacuum cleaners and other janitorial tools.
- Knowledge of cleaning detergents, surface sanitation techniques, and proper waste disposal methods.
- Experience in laundry management including folding and stain removal techniques.
- Ability to perform outdoor work when required, including patio or yard cleaning tasks.
- Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently across multiple rooms.
