Wölffer Estate Vineyard is seeking a seasonal experienced, motivated, friendly and professional individual to join our team as a host from Fridays through Monday (4 days). As a lead member of our front-of-house service team, you greet customers, make and confirm reservations, and ensure the highest possible standards of service. You are responsible for both the logistic details, including reservations and arrangements for large parties, as well as setting the overall ambiance and atmosphere of the Tasting Room space.

Host Duties and Responsibilities
· Make, adjust, and cancel customer reservations
· Manage the flow of our busy doors and phones with confident warmth
· Greet customers and guide them to their tables
· Answer customer questions regarding food, drinks, and specials
· Resolve customer complaints or disputes
· Ensure efficient and excellent service throughout a given seating
· Improve revenue and hospitality with more efficient seating and turns
· Be on the floor/phones during our busiest times, particularly weekends
Host Requirements and Qualifications
· Experience in a high-end, fast-paced hospitality environment preferred
· Adaptive organizational skills and the ability to change plans to meet new circumstances
· Excellent communication and customer service skills, including the ability to tactfully deliver unwelcome news to customers
Job Types: Seasonal (through at least mid-October)
Pay: Between $18 and $22.00 per hour DOE
