Morreall & Co. is looking for a reliable, hardworking, and self-motivated individual to join our team in an entry-level Labor position.
No prior roofing, construction, or labor experience is required. We are willing to train the right person.

We are a growing company, and our goal is to find someone who can start in this position, prove themselves, take on additional responsibilities, and potentially advance into management, sales, or other positions within Morreall & Co.
Responsibilities
This is a versatile position, and responsibilities will vary depending on what is needed throughout the company. Duties may include:
- Picking up materials, supplies, tools, and equipment
- Delivering materials and supplies to active job sites
- Loading and unloading company vehicles
- Loading and preparing materials and equipment for upcoming jobs
- Organizing the shop, materials, tools, equipment, and work areas
- Maintaining an organized and clean company facility
- Assisting with general property and grounds maintenance, including mowing
- Visiting completed job sites for final cleanup
- Picking up debris and leftover materials
- Running magnets around properties to locate and remove nails and other metal debris
- Performing detailed final inspections of the ground and surrounding work areas
- Making sure properties are left clean and presentable after our crews complete their work
- Communicating professionally and respectfully with customers when on their property
- Helping with other general labor, material, shop, and operational tasks as needed
This is a ground-based position. Roof climbing and ladder work are not required.

- Be comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Be physically capable of repeatedly lifting and moving materials weighing up to 80 lbs
- Have a valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- Be comfortable driving a company-provided vehicle for work-related responsibilities
- Be able to pass a company background check
No previous construction or roofing experience is required.
Compensation & 90-Day Probationary Period
Starting compensation is $18–$25 per hour, depending on experience, qualifications, and demonstrated capabilities.
An individual entering the position with little or no relevant experience should expect to start at approximately $18/hour.
All new hires will begin with a 90-day probationary period.
At the end of the 90 days, we will review:
- Reliability and attendance
- Work ethic
- Ability to work independently
- Productivity and efficiency
- Quality of work
- Communication
- Ability to follow instructions
- Care of company vehicles, tools, equipment, and materials
- Customer interactions
- Overall capabilities and value brought to the team
Compensation and job status will be reviewed following the probationary period. Raises will be based on demonstrated performance, reliability, consistency, capabilities, and increased responsibility.
For the right candidate, we may also consider a salary arrangement.

Work Area
Most work will take place throughout Rochester, NY and the surrounding communities.
Occasional travel outside the immediate Rochester area may be required, including trips as far as the Buffalo area.
A company vehicle will be provided for work-related driving.
