- A VALID MICHIGAN DRIVERS LICENSE WITH A CLEAN RECORD
- PASS A PRE EMPLOYMENT DRUG SCREEN AND PHYSICAL
Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated Lawn Care Technician to join our professional team at Bowman Turfgrass Professionals. In this role, you will perform fertilizer and weed control applications, along with other lawn care services for both residential and commercial clients. The ideal candidate is self-disciplined, detail-oriented, and capable of working collaboratively to uphold the high standards of our company. This is a full-time, year-round position that offers opportunities for advancement within our growing organization.
Responsibilities:
- Apply fertilizers, weed control products, and other lawn care treatments accurately and efficiently.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment while adhering to safety protocols.
- Assist with irrigation maintenance and repair when needed.
- Support other departments as required to ensure comprehensive service delivery.
- Participate in snow removal operations during winter months as part of seasonal responsibilities.
- Ensure compliance with all state licensing requirements and company policies.
Qualifications:
- Valid pesticide license through the State of Michigan in category 3A, with core certification or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire.
- Valid Michigan driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to pass pre-employment drug screening.
- Experience in lawn care, irrigation maintenance, or related fields is preferred.
- Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Flexibility to work occasional Saturdays during peak seasons.
- Willingness to support various departmental tasks as needed.

Pay: $18.00 – $25.00 per hour
