Job Position Description:
With a ‘One Team’ mentality, you will perform services as assigned while following PuroClean® production guidelines. PuroClean is seeking a dedicated and hardworking Technician to join our team. As a Technician, you will play a key role in our mission to help communities recover from disasters by assisting with the cleanup, restoration, and rebuilding of properties affected by water, fire, storm or mold damage. Duties & Responsibilities:
- Water extraction and mitigation
- Fire and smoke cleaning and restoration
- Microbial remediation
- Vandalism, crime scene and biohazard clean up
- Demolition
- Structural board-up and site stabilization
- Carpet cleaning
- On location cleaning
- Content handling/storage
- Equipment set up, monitoring and break down
- Field management and supervision of all temporary labor personnel
- Manage and maintain a clean and organized appearance of vehicle, equipment, material and consumables on job site and warehouse at all times
- Manage and maintain inventories of all equipment, material, consumables and tools
- Emergency Mitigation and On Call Rotation
- Complete all necessary paperwork including daily progress report, moisture logs, safety logs and diagrams
- Provide the highest level of customer service
- Adhere to all company best practices
- Ensure clear communication with office staff, immediate supervisor and fellow technicians
- All other duties or projects as assigned
Qualifications & Experience:
- 1 year of restoration industry experience (water, fire and mold) is preferred
- IICRC certification for fire & smoke, water damage, and microbial remediation is preferred
- Excellent communicator, both verbally and written
- Ability to work with people in a professional manner
- Maintain a valid and current driver’s license
- Availability for travel in response to projects and/or catastrophic events in DFW
- Strength with multitasking and handling deadlines
- Ability to lift at least 50 lbs. and comfortable on your feet for prolonged periods of time
