Position: Rigging in Finish Department
Summary
Install all boat components required based off of sales order, work order and/or bill of materials. Installation is done with hand, power and air tools. This position requires a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Always adhere to the NMMA requirements for certification.
- Measure and install appropriate wiring based on guidelines for colors.
- Install purchased parts and hardware.
- Test for proper installation as required. (i.e. Horn works)
- Use judgment and common sense related to sizing and fitting components
- Be available for overtime, weekend, or 2nd shift work assignments
Qualifications
Experience in a manufacturing environment working with electronics and wiring would be preferred but will consider training the right person. Auto mechanics and people with electrical experience in satellite or stereos do very well in these positions.
Candidates must be able to pass a post-employment physical test and drug screening
