Job Description
Ornua is an Irish dairy cooperative that markets and sells dairy products on behalf of its Members, Ireland’s dairy processors and farmers. It is Ireland’s largest exporter of Irish dairy products, with annual sales of €3.4 billion. Headquartered in Dublin, Ornua employs approximately 2,900 people across 10 global business units, including 13 production facilities. Ornua’s core purpose is to build profitable routes to market for Irish dairy products.
The Group is structured into two divisions:
Ornua Foods and Ornua Ingredients. Ornua Foods handles marketing and sales of consumer brands such as Kerrygold, Dubliner, Pilgrims Choice, Avantage, Forto, and BEO milk powders. Ornua Ingredients manages the procurement of Irish and non-Irish dairy products for dairy ingredient sales and employs trading strategies to manage volatility.

Key Responsibilities
Provide accurate and timely monthly P&L reports with variance analysis against budgets.
Prepare monthly flash reports and analyze results against budgets.
Present monthly results clearly and concisely to Senior Leadership.
Produce monthly customer P&L analyses.
Finance Business Partnering
Become an integral part of the Foods business, providing insights and analysis to shape the MEA International Strategy.
Forecasting and Budgeting
Prepare monthly Forward Book reviews with business leads.
Support quarterly forecasts and the annual regional budget process.
Other Responsibilities
Assist with monthly forecasts and submission of results to the Group consolidation system.
Control A&P spending and maintain accurate balance sheet accruals.
Maintain monthly financial records for the local office.
Prepare credit notes and support sales teams with accounts receivable tracking.
Handle ad hoc requests for the commercial and finance teams.
Compliance
Support local tax and legal compliance efforts.
Assist with internal audits and risk resolution.
Manage VAT returns bi-monthly via SARS.
Qualifications and Experience
Part-qualified or recently qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA).
Experience in a commercial finance environment; FMCG experience is a plus.
