We are currently seeking a Field Service Technician to join our growing team. In this role, you will play a vital part in restoring properties affected by water, mold, and fire damage, ensuring the highest quality service is delivered to our clients.
Job Responsibilities:
- Water Restoration: Respond to emergency water damage calls, perform water extraction, set up drying equipment, and monitor drying progress.
- Mold Remediation: Follow industry standards to assess, contain, and remove mold, ensuring the safety of affected environments.
- Fire Mitigation: Assist with the removal of smoke damage, soot, and fire debris, ensuring thorough cleanup and restoration.
- Site Preparation & Safety: Prepare work areas by setting up containment barriers and ensuring all safety protocols are followed.
- Documentation: Accurately document damage, services rendered, and inventory used during the restoration process.
- Customer Service: Communicate professionally with customers, providing updates on project status and addressing concerns with empathy and expertise.
- Equipment Operation: Operate and maintain industry-standard equipment for water extraction, drying, mold removal, and fire mitigation.
- Team Collaboration: Work alongside project managers, subcontractors, and other team members to ensure timely and high-quality service.
Qualifications:
- License: A valid driver’s license is required.
- Experience: Prior experience in water restoration, mold remediation, or fire mitigation is preferred but not required. We are willing to train the right candidate.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift and carry heavy equipment, work in confined spaces, and be on your feet for extended periods.
- Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to interact with clients professionally and effectively.
- Detail-Oriented: Ability to follow detailed instructions, ensure work is done thoroughly, and maintain high standards of safety and quality.
