We are looking for someone to come in and help build/takeover our labor crews, and run jobs as a Foreman. We build all kinds of fence and deal with all kinds of gate openers. Job would consist of running 1-3 jobs at any given time, making sure each crew has the materials and tools needed, and keeping crews on track by working with them in your free time aft er making sure everyone is lined out. Dealing with clients and commercial project managers will be seldom, but would be an awesome added bonus there if you could handle that. Most importantly, you’d b keeping tabs on material and inventory, and managing job flow/scheduling crews effectively. As well as corresponding with me on getting materials ordered and future jobs planned out.
We have a similar job posting out there right now but, it is more geared towards a Project Management Role, who would be the direct authority over this role. With the Foreman role, we’d be looking to internally promote to Project Manager after some time and demonstration that you can manage 1-2 Foreman at once.
To be clear: This is not a job that allows you to sit in the truck and watch. If all of your crews are truly lined out, have all materials, all equipment, and all phasing set up and ready to go, you’ll be either back at the office, planning future jobs, running job status/performance report, or delivering materials/equipment on our trailers. Or helping crews with install, whichever takes precedence.
ABILITY TO SPEAK SPANISH IS A HUGE PLUS
MUST HAVE VALID DRIVER’S LICENSE AND RELIABLE TRANSPORTATION
Knowledge of welding preferred but not necessary. Need to be able to operate a skid steer and sky track at bare minimum, and preferably excavators as well. Must be able to safely pull up to a 30 foot trailer. Work truck provided. Monthly truck allowance offered for 2017+ White Ford 6.7 Powerstrokes if Desired.
