We are looking for a talented Fashion Textile & CAD Designer to join our innovative team.
Position Overview:
As a Fashion Textile & CAD Designer, you will play a crucial role in the development of textile designs and fashion collections. You will leverage your expertise in CAD software to produce technical drawings and specifications, ensuring our designs meet the highest standards of quality and creativity.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design and develop original textile patterns and prints that align with our brand identity.
• Create detailed technical sketches and CAD drawings for garments and textiles using industry-standard software.
• Collaborate with the design and production teams to bring concepts to life and ensure design feasibility.
• Conduct research on textile trends, materials, and colour palettes to inform design decisions.
• Prepare and present design concepts, prototypes, and samples to stakeholders for review and feedback.
• Ensure that all designs are produced according to specifications, deadlines, and quality standards.
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design, Textile Design, or a related field.
• Proven experience in fashion and textile design, with proficiency in CAD software (e.g., Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and CAD-specific programs).
• Strong understanding of textile properties, garment construction, and production processes.
• Excellent creativity, artistic ability, and attention to detail.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• A portfolio showcasing your textile and design work is required.
