Job Title: Industrial Blaster
Location: Apache Junction, AZ
Employment Type: Fulltime
Schedule: up to 58-hour work week, Monday-Saturday (Saturday may be required)
About the Role
Rolling Plains Construction (RPC) is seeking experienced Industrial Blasters experience in the fireproofing industry.
Candidates with less experience who demonstrate a strong work ethic, mechanical aptitude, and a commitment to learning are encouraged to apply. RPC provides on-the-job training and career development opportunities for individuals looking to build a long-term career in the fireproofing industry.
Key Responsibilities
· Surface Preparation
· Hand blasting
· Blast machine operations
· Equipment maintenance
Qualifications
· Minimum 18 years of age
· OSHA 10 preferred
· Two forms of identification
· Ability to pass pre-employment drug screening
· Ability to follow instructions
· Commitment to workplace safety
· Ability to maintain a clean and organized work area
· Ability to work as part of a team
· Reliable transportation
Physical Requirements and Work Environment
· Work outside for 8–10-hour shifts
· Able to lift 75 lbs.
· Ability to bend, stoop, kneel, climb
· Stand for the duration of the shift
