Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Embroidery Operator to join our dynamic manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating embroidery machines to create high-quality decorative and functional designs on a variety of fabric materials. Your expertise will ensure precise stitching, adherence to quality standards, and efficient production workflows. Responsibilities
- Set up and operate industrial embroidery machines with precision, ensuring accurate placement of designs on garments or fabric items.
- Measure and verify fabric dimensions and embroidery placements using measuring instruments to meet design specifications.
- Monitor machine performance during operation, making adjustments as needed to maintain quality standards in production.
- Handle materials carefully, including fabric handling and manual cutting when necessary, to prepare items for embroidery.
- Maintain cleanliness and safety standards in the workspace by following safety protocols during machine operation and materials handling.
- Inspect finished products for stitching accuracy, quality standards, and dimensional measurements, making corrections when necessary.
- Document production details, including embroidery specifications and quality checks, ensuring traceability and accountability throughout the process.
Skills
- Proficiency in operating sewing machines, embroidery machines, serging equipment, and other industrial sewing tools.
- Strong knowledge of measuring instruments used for precise placement and dimensional measurements in textile manufacturing.
- Understanding of quality standards in production to ensure consistent output that meets client specifications.
- Experience with garment construction, upholstery work, sewing techniques, seam construction, and garment sewing processes.
- Ability to handle various fabric materials safely and efficiently while maintaining high standards of craftsmanship.
- Familiarity with manufacturing workflows including warehouse experience for materials handling and inventory management.
- Knowledge of safety standards in production environments to prevent accidents and promote a secure workplace.
