We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Electrical Supervisor to oversee electrical operations on construction sites, ensuring projects are completed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with all relevant regulations. Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate electrical installation activities across multiple construction sites
- Manage and direct electrical crews, ensuring adherence to project timelines and safety protocols
- Review construction drawings and technical specifications to verify compliance with design intent
- Monitor project progress through detailed scheduling using Primavera P6 or similar software
- Conduct regular site inspections to ensure safety standards are maintained in accordance with OSHA and federal regulations
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to resolve technical issues promptly
- Oversee quality control processes, including blueprint reading, technical drawing review, and inspection of electrical work
- Maintain accurate documentation of work progress, change orders, and safety reports using construction management software such as ProCore or Prolog
- Manage procurement of materials and equipment, ensuring timely delivery and budget adherence
- Enforce construction safety management practices and conduct safety meetings regularly
Requirements
- Proven experience supervising electrical teams within commercial or heavy civil construction projects
- Strong knowledge of construction management software including ProCore, Bluebeam, Primavera P6, Primavera, and Management tools like Prolog
- Familiarity with construction scheduling, budgeting, and project management principles
- Extensive understanding of OSHA standards and federal construction safety regulations
- Ability to interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics accurately
- Demonstrated skills in managing teams effectively on busy construction sites
- Experience with blueprint reading, technical drawing review, and quality control procedures
- Knowledge of construction regulations related to electrical systems and safety practices
- Proficiency in using Ohmmeters for electrical testing and troubleshooting
- Excellent managerial communication skills for managing crews and coordinating with stakeholders
- Construction site experience with a focus on safety management and regulatory compliance
