Our equipment removes nitrogen oxides, particulate matter, and other harmful emissions found in the emergency backup power diesel engines; end users of our systems include all the major hyperscalers and larger co-location data centers located throughout the country.

To support our extensive growth, we recently opened a new production facility in Michigan, and we are looking to add to our team!

Job Overview
The Electrical Assembler is an integral part of the team and is responsible for wiring and installing various electrical components and controls devices to reactors.

Responsibilities

  • Wiring and installing JB boxes, IB boxes, NOX boxes, Injector boxes, Damper valve controls, temperature and pressure sensors and hardware as per technical specifications.
  • Apply applicable warning labels, tags and identifications as per technical specifications.
  • Identify and resolve any technical issues or malfunctions that may arise during installation and testing.
  • Forming and installing compressed air and fluid delivery lines.
  • Perform sensor and controls functional inspections and upload results in a timely manner.
  • Assist with inventory control and ordering, material handling and component organization alerting to any foreseeable shortage.
  • Ensure reactor quality inspection is performed prior to any electrical work commencing, reporting all quality concerns.
  • Advise Mechanical Team when reactors are completed and ready for inspections.
  • Initiate and works on assigned Continuous Improvement Projects (CIP’s) to drive Safety, Quality and Productivity improvements.
  • Assist the team in new product launches (i.e. coordinating training program and carrying out training of plant employees in electrical subjects).
  • Ensure projects are completed in accordance with set timelines.
  • Promote a strong safety culture, enforcing safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment for all staff.
  • Perform all work in a safe manner in compliance with Company specifications, including all local, state and federal safety regulations. Immediately report unsafe conditions to Manager/Supervisor within the department.
  • Other duties as assigned by manager/supervisor.

Qualifications

  • Post-secondary diploma in electrical or a related field required.
  • Reading and understanding technical drawings and wiring diagrams.
  • An effective self-starter who is positive and professional including proactive with a desire to suggest improvements to existing processes and systems.
  • Flexible to work extended hours, when required, to comply with time sensitive deadlines.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to communicate and interact well with people in all departments.
  • Good leadership, problem solving, and analytical skills.
  • Able to lift 50 lbs. comfortably throughout the full shift.
  • Must be physical able to lift and handle heavy objects, including continuous standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling and climbing for 8-hour shift.

Job Demands & Working Conditions

  • Production/manufacturing environment.
  • Stand, walk and sit throughout entire shift.
  • Effectively perform in a fast-paced environment, and sometimes high stress situations.
  • Occasionally required to lift and handle heavy objects, climb or balance; bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl and lift and/or move up to 50 lbs.
  • Exposure to moderate to loud noise and vibration levels.
  • Required to wear PPE (safety shoes, safety glasses, ear plugs are required). Exposure to welding fumes and dust, as well as air born insulation, for which masks are available.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00 – $35.00 per hour
