Job Title: Driver
Job Summary:
The Driver is responsible for transporting goods and materials to the destinations. This role involves operating a vehicle in compliance with all traffic laws and company policies, maintaining vehicle cleanliness, and ensuring timely deliveries or pickups.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate company vehicles to transport goods.
Follow routes and time schedules as instructed.
Ensure the safety of cargo during transportation.
Load and unload cargo as needed.
Inspect vehicles for mechanical issues and perform basic maintenance.
Report vehicle issues, accidents, or delays to management.
Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, fuel usage, and expenses.
Adhere to all traffic laws, safety standards, and company protocols.
Requirements:
Valid driver’s license (code 10).
Clean driving record.
Proven experience as a driver (personal, commercial, or both).
Familiarity with GPS devices and navigation apps.
Good physical condition and ability to lift heavy loads (if applicable).
Strong communication and time-management skills.
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Preferred Qualifications:
Knowledge of local routes and traffic patterns.
Customer service experience (for passenger or delivery drivers).
Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends or holidays.
