Full Job Description
Areas of Responsibility:
Assist Dispatch team leader where needed
Ensure packed boxes are staged in appropriate staging locations
Scan and commit staged boxes on to a Manifest by store/route
Load boxes per Manifest
Ensure a two-way checking procedure is executed
Adhere to cut off times for outlying courier providers
Maintain flow of picked boxes to the checking tables for checking
Maintain flow of packed boxes to the staging area for loading
Ensure packed boxes have the required dispatch label on each box
Ensure checking tables equipped with necessary packaging/labels, tools needed to effectively check boxes
Make sure all issues are resolved to avoid delays in dispatching boxes to the store
Proven experience in dispatch, logistics, or a similar role.
Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
Basic understanding in dispatch software and systems.
