Role Description: We are looking for a skilled and experienced Diagnostic Technician / Working Foreman to join our team at MS Performance. This full-time, on-site role involves diagnosing and troubleshooting vehicle issues, performing maintenance tasks, utilizing advanced diagnostic equipment, and ensuring excellent communication with customers and team members. Due to the high volume of work in our busy workshop, strong time management skills are essential to ensure the efficient execution of tasks while maintaining quality service.
Key Responsibilities:
Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair complex vehicle issues across a variety of makes and models.
Lead, manage, and mentor a team of technicians, ensuring efficient and high-quality work execution.
Oversee daily workshop activities, including task delegation, prioritization, and ensuring smooth workflow.
Communicate effectively with customers regarding vehicle repairs, estimated costs, and repair progress.
Maintain tools and diagnostic equipment to the highest standards, ensuring accuracy in diagnostics and repairs.
Stay updated with the latest industry trends and diagnostic technologies to provide top-notch service.
Manage time effectively to meet deadlines and keep the busy workshop running smoothly.
Requirements:
At least 5 years of experience as a Diagnostic Technician.
Minimum of 2 years of supervisory or leadership experience in a workshop setting.
Proficiency in using advanced diagnostic tools and software.
Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Relevant technical qualifications and certifications in automotive diagnostics (Trade Test is required).
Ability to manage time efficiently in a fast-paced, busy workshop environment.
