 Position: Data Analyst / BI Developer

 Location: Full Time (Johannesburg, Gauteng)

 Department: Technical & Analytics Team

 Reporting to: CTO

 

 About the Role

 

As a Data Analyst / BI Developer, you will play a critical role in managing data pipelines, optimizing reporting structures, and developing impactful Power BI dashboards for various clients. You’ll work closely with our Technical & Analytics Team to ensure seamless data ingestion, warehousing, and visualization that drive business decisions.

 

 What You’ll Do:

 

✅ Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards to provide actionable insights

✅ Manage Azure Data Factory pipelines for efficient data processing

✅ Ensure data accuracy, validation, and integration across multiple sources (Snowflake, Microsoft Fabric, SharePoint, SFTP)

✅ Optimize reporting performance and troubleshoot data-related issues

✅ Work with internal teams and clients to translate business needs into data-driven solutions

 

 What You Bring:

 

 3+ years of experience in BI development / data analysis

 Strong SQL skills for querying, optimization, and data modelling

 Hands-on experience with Power BI (DAX, data modelling, dashboard creation)

 Expertise in Azure Data Factory, Snowflake, Microsoft Fabric

 Ability to solve complex data challenges and think critically

 A proactive, solution-driven mindset with strong stakeholder communication

 

 Bonus Skills: Python & C# programming
