Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Sales Associate role located in Western Cape, South Africa. The Sales Associate will be responsible for assisting customers with product inquiries, providing knowledgeable recommendations, processing sales, and maintaining a high standard of customer service. You will be required to find new customers. Service our existing database and cold call on a daily basis. Responsibilities include managing inventory, restocking products, maintaining product displays, and ensuring a clean and organized store environment. Additionally, the role involves supporting the team with administrative tasks, fostering a positive customer experience, and achieving sales targets.
Qualifications
- Strong customer service and communication skills to assist and engage customers effectively.
- Basic knowledge of jewellery, tools, or related trade supplies is preferred, but not required.
- Organizational and inventory management skills to maintain a well-stocked and orderly store environment.
- Sales and marketing knowledge to achieve targets and identify customer needs.
- Basic computer skills for processing sales, maintaining records, and using inventory software.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team setting and adapt to a fast-paced retail environment.
- Problem-solving and decision-making abilities to address customer queries and resolve issues efficiently.
- Previous experience in retail or sales is a plus, but a strong willingness to learn and grow within the role is essential.
