Job Summary:
We are seeking skilled and detail-oriented Cutter Operator to join our production team. The ideal candidate will have experience operating Polar or Saber cutting machines to produce high-quality products. You will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining the cutting equipment while ensuring accuracy, safety, and efficiency in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate the cutting machine according to job specifications
- Inspect incoming materials and finished products for quality assurance
- Make necessary adjustments to cutting equipment to ensure clean cuts and proper alignment
- Maintain accurate production records and complete timesheet
- Perform routine maintenance on machines and troubleshoot mechanical issues
- Work closely with press operators, bindery staff, and supervisors to meet deadlines
- Follow all safety protocols and company policies
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the work area
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of [2] years of experience operating cutting equipment (Polar or Saber preferred)
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
- Ability to read and interpret job specifications and technical drawings
- Attention to detail with excellent hand-eye coordination
- Flexibility to work overtime or weekends as needed
