Custodian/Maintenance Night Shift Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Custodian/Maintenance Night Shift to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and overall appearance of our facilities.
- Wednesday-Sunday from 2:00 PM – 10:30 PM (closing shift)
Responsibilities:
– Perform custodial duties such as cleaning, dusting, mopping, and vacuuming
– Maintain and care for floors
– Conduct residential painting tasks as needed
– Handle commercial cleaning tasks in various areas
– Ensure proper sanitation of restrooms and common areas
– Assist with porter duties such as trash removal and recycling
– Perform floor care maintenance including sweeping and scrubbing
– Execute industrial cleaning tasks in designated areas
– Support facilities maintenance activities as required
Building Closing Procedures
- Basic knowledge of painting, landscaping, and minor repair work
- Dependability and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and follow instructions
Requirements:
– Proven experience in custodial or related roles
– Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques and procedures
– Ability to operate cleaning equipment effectively
– Familiarity with industrial cleaning standards
– Strong attention to detail and thoroughness in work
– Physical stamina to handle the demands of the job
Preferred Skills:
– Experience in residential painting is a plus
– Previous experience in commercial cleaning or porter services is beneficial
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 – $23.00 per hour
