Monarch Gardens is an established landscape design, installation, and maintenance company. We’re hiring a hands-on Crew Leader to lead a small crew while working alongside them in the field. Our ideal candidate is reliable, dedicated, and looking for a long-term position — most of our team has been with us for many years.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
* Lead and work alongside a crew of 2–4 in the field
* Pruning, planting, weeding, and seasonal garden care
* Irrigation programming, troubleshooting, and repair
* Watch plant health and flag improvements for clients
* Train and mentor the crew; keep the job safe
* Maintain tools, equipment, and the vehicle
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
* 2+ years of maintenance experience, including crew leadership
* Solid plant and horticulture knowledge (CA natives a plus)
* Irrigation repair experience
* Valid CA driver’s license with a clean record
* English required; Spanish a plus
* Organized, dependable, and a strong leader
* Able to lift 50+ lbs and work outdoors year-round
PAY & BENEFITS
* $28–$35 / hour, based on experience
* Paid time off and paid holidays
* Full-time, long-term, with room to grow
