Job Summary
To provide advice & support in the development & implementation of pricing activities; enabling the provision of new products and investment portfolio pricing structures.
Job Description
Accountability:
Pricing Implementation
Responsible for the implementation of pricing changes across core pricing systems and processes including core billing and pricing, product pricing systems, hierarchy management system and the Absa Interest and Parameter System.
Responsible for the development and management of preventative and detective controls to ensure adherence to pricing policy and pricing regulations.
Responsible for the development and accurate maintenance of pricing communications to customers and colleagues as part of pricing changes and new product developments/enhancements.
Investigate and resolve root causes driving pricing related customer complaints.
Accountability:
Pricing Systems
Provide expert input to new product development/enhancement process as it relates to pricing systems and controls to ensure adherence to pricing policy.
Provide expert input including concept documents and business requirement specifications for the development of pricing systems incorporating product and customer specific strategies as well as parametric simplification.
Responsible for the development and maintenance of systemic controls to ensure adherence to relevant pricing regulations, revenue assurance and internal pricing change and approval governance.
Accountability:
Good Governance, Risk and Compliance
Drive the development and implementation of integrated corporate governance and compliance frameworks throughout the business unit.
Influence the implementation of effective internal controls system and corporate governance in the functional area of accountability.
Ensure appropriate controls including an end-to-end pricing change and approval process, supporting governance and reporting to operate within Everyday Banking risk appetite.
Education
Bachelor`s Degrees and Advanced Diplomas:
Business, Commerce and Management Studies (Required)
