Concrete Finisher Form Setter (Curb & Gutter) Jobs in Littleton, CO at Concrete Curb and Paving
General Description
We are in need of an experienced concrete flatwork finisher to be a part of an existing crew to pour large amounts of concrete curbs, gutters, sidewalks and drivelanes/alleys. This role requires true curb and gutter expertise — candidates must be able to freehand curb by hand, without relying on a slip form paver, and must know curb and gutter work inside and out. Candidates will be tested on their finishing ability prior to being hired.
Select Responsibilities:
- Must be able to freehand curb by hand and have strong, proven curb and gutter finishing skills.
- 5+ years of concrete finishing experience including hand cutting radius and handicap ramps. Experience with and operational knowledge of modern slip form pavers is a plus.
- Ability to operate magnesium and wood floats, trowels, curb mules, etc.
- Operate equipment such as skid steers, wheel loaders, jumping jacks, etc.
- Responsible for correction of any deficient workmanship and sub-standard work.
- Must be able to provide own transportation to and from worksite.
- Must be able to lift up to 100 pounds. The job is physically demanding requiring frequent bending at the waist, reaching, kneeling and/or squatting. The job also requires working in an outdoor environment with exposure to extreme heat and moderate cold.
- Wear all safety equipment — hard hats, vests, and other PPE as assigned.
Preferred Skills & Qualifications:
- Experience with and operational knowledge of modern slip form pavers.
- Ability to read construction plans.
- Must be able to freehand curb and gutter

Pay: $30.00 – $35.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40.0 per week
